Watching certain styles evolve over time is one of my favourite things about fashion. This week's look features 'Double Denim', a style that was once a fashion faux pas but has grown into ome of the key parts of my Spring wardrobe.

I'm a girl whose closet is made up of 90% dresses, so from time to time I reach for my trusted denim to mix things up. Below are some tips on how to build your own "Canadian Tuxedo"

Two-toned

One of the most important things to know about wearing denim head-to-toe is that your shades of blue don’t have to match. I prefer when lighter denim is paired with a darker wash. Suit up in a pair of lighter boyfriend jeans, a basic tee, and a dark denim jacket for example.

Mix it up

Denim washes come in all forms. Try experimenting with Jackets, vests, skirts and even accessories. Have fun making it your own!
