Clothes may look one way on a mannequin or on a hanger but they may not look the same on you when you try them on in the fitting room. We all come in different shapes and sizes and it's always important to remember this before bringing anything to the cash register.
The first thing I do is make sure that I dress for my body type and the second thing I look at is if the proportions work. Ensuring that your outfit is balanced is often something women overlook amd while the clothes may fit your body your look may still look 'off' . Your clothes may fit you in all the right places, but if it's not well balanced it may still look 'off'.
Today, I balanced a full tunic with slimming over the knee boots. It’s important to remember when wearing oversized pieces to pair it with something more fitted below or vice versa. The last thing you want is to be swimming in fabric. When shopping don’t forget to ask yourself: "What would this look good with?"
