January 1st has always been the day where people press the proverbial 'reset button' on things and start fresh. The sun sets on old ideas, habits, and routines as new ones emerge. Another time of the year we see change like this is the fall and with another labour day weekend in the books Fall is now clearly in sight.
Many people (myself included) are sad to see the summer go however autumn does have its benefits, namely its FASHION. Fall trends are inviting with cozy layers and polished lines. When I build my wardrobe I like to use classics as my foundation because they are generally versatile and able to be worn time and time again. This week's look is an example of a classic piece with a slight twist as I opted to go with Olive over the traditional black and white. Whether it's paired with black, white, or even a deep red, olive green's versatility is very underrated. This dress was paired with sandals this week because it's still warm outside however as temperatures begin to fall I can pair these with booties or OTK boots.
Give your black and whites a break this week and give olive a try!
